“Wish to Support the Development of My Alma Mater Where I Spent 8 Years”
Lee Sook-yeon, a judge at the Intellectual Property High Court of Korea, donated 100 million won for the university development fund.

Lee Sook-yeon (’91, Department of Law), a judge at the Intellectual Property High Court of Korea, donated 100 million won for students at the KU Law School and the Graduate School of Information Security.
On March 8, 10:30 a.m., Korea University held a ceremony at the President’s office in the Main Hall to commemorate the donation of Judge Lee at the Intellectual Property High Court for the Law School and the Graduate School of Information Security.
Judge Lee has continuously made donations for the development of her alma mater and its students since 2009. Her donations were made into the KUPC fund and the development fund for the Law School and the Graduate School of Information Security through the Alumni Association of the School of Law.

At the ceremony, Judge Lee talked about her motivation for donation. “I studied at Korea University for about 8 years, and I learned a lot from my days at the Department of Law and the Graduate School of Information Security. I decided to donate because I want to be part of the development of my alma mater where I spend those years.” She added, “I wish the Law School and the Graduate School of Information Security to further develop, and I want students there to study in better environments.”
