Process of having re-admitted to the university to those who have been removed from the student registrar and enrolled for more than one semester


Those who have been removed from the student register under the categories of University constitution section3, article 20 ‘Removal from student registrar’
Those who failed to either return within the registration period after the rationale for absence is no longer valid or register for a semester by the deadline should apply for a re-admission after a semester.

Those who are subject to permanent removal due to disciplinary measures and medical student who received number of academic warnings are NOT eligible to apply for re-admission.

Application Period

For Spring semester, please apply in May
For Fall semester, please apply in November

Application Procedure

Application and supporting documents should be submitted at student’s affiliated department/division

    Statement of Purpose & Explanation for re-admission

    Copy of student records
  5. 5
    Original copy of academic transcript
Guidelines for Re-admission
  1. 1
    Re-admission shall be permitted when there is a vacancy within the student quota of the relevant division or department. Re-admission is permitted once.
  2. 2
    Those permitted to re-enter shall pay tuition fees (including re-admission fees) by the deadline and complete all procedures required for studying, such as course registration.

    Successful applicant who failed to complete all procedures results in cancelation of re-admission.
  4. 4
    Students readmitted to the university must abide by university academic regulations and letter of pledge.
  5. 5
    Re-admitted student cannot apply for a leave of absence for the 1st semester.
  6. 6
    Student who cannot apply for re-admission due to abolishment of major(s) can still apply by signing the form for ‘Declaring a Change of Major’.
