Opening Cultural Industry Era Through the Humanities
Culture’ is the keyword that defines modern society and the flower that blooms the essence of human society. A broader definition of the humanities is an academic field studying human culture. It is no exaggeration to say that the future will be an era of the humanities. Its potential seems boundless. Moreover, the whole world is witnessing the process of digitization, specialization and globalization of culture. In this respect, the future will present a new paradigm that links the humanities to science technologies. |
|
An era of cultural industry is foreseen in the future as the industry places emphasis on the intangible aspect of life and, at the same time, realizes the value of humanities in the format of information technology. The cultural industry of the new era will demand new talents: experts who can lead the way in cutting edge ideas and information based on expertise and creativity, develop creative business models and plan, formulate and put them into practice.
The College of Humanities, based on its 20 years of experience, will not only strive toward the development of a reinvigorated national culture, but also act as an incubator of creative talent that will lead the globalization process. To this end, it has strengthened foreign language education, diversified its general education courses and established an open curriculum to allow students to choose the program that best suits their aptitude and talent.
