Customized Convergence Nurturing Public Leaders
Modern society not only requires expertise in a specific field but also demands complex expertise in a wide array of areas. The School of Interdisciplinary Studies provides a multidisciplinary curriculum custom designed through selection of courses in various fields to meet such social demand.
The School was established in 2009 under the goal of nurturing public leaders and assists students pursuing a career in public service or law. It allows students to select and design majors based on their talents and objectives. As the knowledge of law is a prerequisite in becoming a public leader, this component is provided as a base, and education in terms of character, knowledge and expertise is also encouraged. |

Since historically, the College of Law of Korea University has nurtured numerous leaders of the nation and society through means such as national examinations and as such know-how has been passed from to the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, the School can be said to be the optimal choice for students planning to advance into the public sector. Moreover, as all law school professors serve as advisors, it provides the best environment for those pursuing a career in the field of law.
