KU has established
extensive links with many universities internationally
through its student exchange program (SEP), which was
developed as part of its internationalization process.
This program now involves almost two thousand students
to and from countries in Asia-Pacific, Europe, North and
South America.
The benefits of KU exchange students vary according to
the terms and conditions of the exchange agreement KU
has concluded with each institution. Based on the principle
of reciprocal exchange of benefits, our standard exchange
agreements regulate student tuition fees waiver at host
universities: however, students are responsible for room
and board. Exchange students are also responsible for
their own travel, medical insurance and other personal
expenses.
International students whose home institutions do not
have an exchange agreement with KU nor has links with
ISEP can also apply to study at KU through the visiting
student program (VSP).
Outside the Student Exchange Program (SEP) and Visiting
Student Program (VSP), there are two other programs that
students can apply to study at KU. They are the International
Summer Campus (ISC) which is also organized by the Office
of International Affairs and the Korean language program
which is offered by the Korean Language & Culture
Center (KLCC). The following is a brief introduction to
ISC and KLCC. For more detailed information, you may visit
the websites and contact the ISC and KLCC directly. |
