| Global KU Campus Around the World |
| Under the VSPs (Visiting Student Program) signed with prestigious universities around the world, KU sends a large portion of its students to universities abroad. For this purpose, KU has been developing the Global KU Campus to provide dormitories for KU students studying abroad and help them study in the best possible environment and adapt to local conditions. The Global KU Campus is now in operation at the University of British Colombia in Canada, Royal Holloway University of London in England and Ren Min University in China. International exchanges are also highly active with such universities as King's College London in England, Griffith University in Australia, University of California, Davis, and University of Pennsylvania, where KU operates its overseas campuses. |

| ISEP (International Student Exchange Program) includes 292 member institutions in 44 countries throughout the world. KU is one of the select number of member universities in Korea to join the program. Every year KU students taking part in ISEP's various exchange and study abroad programs gain invaluable experiences together with 21,000 students from other member institutions throughout the world. |

| KU's specialized overseas internship program sends a number of talented interns not only to international organizations such as the UN and UNESCO, but also to renowned global corporations like UBS, Merrill Lynch, Tiger Fund, GE, and Bloomberg in New York, Paris and the third world. The number of corporations and institutions affiliated with this program is growing every year. |

Foreign Language 7+1 Program |

| KU has also adopted the "7+1" system, which makes it a prerequisite for students majoring in foreign languages to study for, out of a total eight semesters, at least one semester overseas in a country where their target languages are spoken as a mother tongue,. This special program offers students the opportunity not only to polish their language skills to a native speaker level but also to learn the culture and broaden their full spectrum of understanding as they develop expertise in the foreign languages and literature which are considered a must in this globalized world. |

| All KU students are required to take a minimum of five classes related to foreign languages. Moreover, a growing number of lectures are presented in English, surpassing 60% of the total by 2015. More than 100 international faculty members have been recently recruited after a thorough screening process to guarantee quality lectures. KU students are now educated in a global environment perfect to prepare them for the global stage. |

KUBA (Korea University Buddy Assistant), a One-on-One Buddy Program Between International and KU Students
KUBA (Korea University Buddy Assistant) is an one-on-one partnering program between local KU students and international students studying at KU. Through KUBA, international students get help with their new lives in Korea both on and off of campus, such as classes, trips and international festivals. KU students get to develop friendship with their international schoolmates.
